I didn't touch this game for several years after my initial review so felt I'd try it while on a longer trip. The variety and availability of decks has definitely improved a bit but still really isn't great for casual players and ones who don't want to spend any money. While I can find it fun at times the overall flow, especially with the hero type cards, feels poorly established for a returning player. Maybe it's better for those who started in it or have been on for the whole ride.

Game is fine, but they messed everything basic up. Card acquisition seems to be much slower, as well as overall progression, and the Hero card paywall B.S, just a money hungry game and I don't see why. Emotes should not be no $5, and if you introduce a battlepass system, then you need to incorporate a way where players can PLAY to pay, instead of asking for $12 dollars EVERY single season. Just greedy, and the amount you spend on ANYTHING in this game is just not worth it. Save your money.

I was really addicted for about 2 years. they added evolutions and the game became beyond frustrating with the pay to win situation. I deleted it shortly after. I came back a year later to play for 6 months with the addition of heroes. the game is even more pay to win now. sometimes the game is fun, but some days the matching system seems to just connect you with hard counters. some days this game is no fun at all.
