As a game designer, I’ve contemplated the true essence of gaming.
In this profit-driven era, we found ourselves entangled in the swamp of commercialized games. However, as time passed, we realized it wasn’t what we truly desired. Pay-to-win games, the incredibly difficult designs forced for payments, and the seemingly futile efforts in the eyes of “whale players”… Can these truly bring joy to players? The clear answer is NO.
After much contemplation, we decided to veer away from the wrong path. Thus, this anti-“pay-to-win” game was born at this moment. We transformed in-app purchases into a gaming experience. Players unlock features and all the game content that usually requires payment by cracking the game with the hacker, defeating the coercive power of the “pay-to-win” boss, and ultimately helping the game dev realize the meaning of true game design.

Such a breath of fresh air to find a good bullet hell, with cool weapons and abilities, but without the greedy model of way too many games these days. Everything in this game, including season passes, battle passes, loot boxes, premium currency, etc, is unlockable by simply playing the game. And I don't mean "grind for 2 years to unlock something you would otherwise buy for $20", I mean "play the game normally and things just open up".

decent, but there are some major bugs early on where the forced tutorials lock the game, because you can purchase upgrades past the tutorial prompts, so they sit there pointing at what you have already done. 2 stars for now as I can't proceed due to the bug, talent screen is permanently stuck on tutorial forcing me to try to purchase something I already purchased.

there are glitches that have gone unaddressed for more than a week. it suffers from the cuts normal in what used to be pay to win games. they have a shop where many of the resources become unattainable at the levels needed to buy what they sell you. and the levels scale poorly because of it. but it's still a straightforward rouge like in it's basic form. so it's OK gets a bit old.
