The game is designed that you have to buy new robots and weapons every 3 months. You do get occasional items but the resources spent to upgrade will all be for naught as those items will be 'rebalanced' and becomes useless. play at your own risk. edit: there are ways to make the game healthy. not everything has to be a roulette system. I want to upgrade the pilot, I have to pay extra to select the skills that are relevant. Leaderboards are more like payment boards on who can spend more.

started playing 2 years ago, and the game can get addictive. However I find as time goes on the game only gets worse. the new equipment has become so powerful that without it you can't compete in the upper leagues (masters and champion). for example the new ultimate nodens titan it takes little damage from even the best items in the game. and the worst part is all of these "top" items are paid, people have told me they've spent hundreds on a single ultimate robot. Then hackers on top of all that

I loved this game as a kid, but now it's pay to win. I don't mind that so much, because you can still upgrade everything to keep up. Except that you can't because everything takes an hour, which you can watch an ad to 'skip' this obviously. Except that most of the time you'll just watch the ad, and nothing happens. Very disappointed, would highly encourage that the timers be removed for upgrades because they serve no function.
