It was a very additctive, classic XCom experience and I enjoyed playing it a lot. But on my Pixel 7 the text was tiny to read and the game sometimes caused my phone to overheat. I was looking to reinstall it on my new Pixel 10 fold with a larger screen area but unfortunately it is not compatible. I hope this can be updated, as there is nothing else quite like it on the app store!

Overall an impressively complete port of a great AAA game. Although not a deal breaker, there's a few technical issues with the game. I run into a crash every 2-3 hours of gameplay (Samsung S22) which can be annoying. The game also predictably eats up a lot of CPU. Performance takes a huge hit if you have apps running in the background. Other than that it's a great port with no microtransactions, and I hope it sets a precedent for similar ports by other publishers in the future.

Buggy...but...it's XCOM2, which i have 1000+ hrs on PC...so I love the game. I'm playing on an S24+, so plenty of power, but every turn now in battle the gamma goes full blast, and the screen turns white. It's basically unplayable unless I save and reload every turn, sometimes multiple times a round. For some reason, it seems to activate the gamma bug every time a shot misses.
